Robert represents entrepreneurs, emerging growth and public companies, venture capital firms and private investors in a wide variety of start-up matters, venture capital and private equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, debt financing transactions and corporate governance matters.

Prior to joining DBC, Robert was a partner at a leading technology-focused boutique law firm in Austin, Texas following his experience as legal counsel at Dell Technologies supporting mergers and acquisitions and the venture investment portfolio of Dell Technologies Capital. Prior to this, Robert was a corporate attorney in the Austin, Texas office of Baker Botts L.L.P.

Robert received his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law, where he graduated with Honors and was a member of Texas Law Review. He received a B.A. with Distinction in Psychology and Government from Cornell University and studied Experimental Psychology at Pembroke College, Oxford.
